Kelly Rowland paid homage to iconic women in an editorial for Mane Addicts. Celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble and makeup artist Rokael Lizama joined forces to transform the star into some of the world’s most celebrated beauties. Amongst them was Sade and Diana Ross.
According toKim Kimble “So the inspiration for the looks are other iconic artists, like the first look we did capturing Diana Ross, who back in the 80’s had that big, curly, textured mane. There’s one album cover I had that wasn’t her typical tight curl, it was more like a loose, messy, lion’s mane type of hair so I’m using that as my inspiration”Inspiration (Diana Ross’s Album Cover)[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1020" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Kelly Rowland[/caption]
Kelly’s second inspiration was Sade. Her hair was slicked back into a waist-long twist, and she nailed it with a bright lip.Kimble says the pulled back look is an easy one to achieve, and recommends her K2 Beauty Hair Jelly to give the hair a sleek and polished finish.
